Feminist Happy Hour at The Whistler

Feminist Happy Hour is a live performance showcase held the 2nd Mondays of each month that invites performers who identify as women to showcase their work. This show is free and open to anyone 21 and older. Due to city licensing laws we are unable to sell tickets or ask for donations within the venue and thus payment for performers in not guaranteed. We offer performers the following:

  • 8 minutes of stage time to perform material that aligns with SlutTalk’s mission - no sexist, racist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic content will be tolerated.

  • Publicity and promotion via website and social media.

  • A supportive room that strives to create a safe and welcoming environment.

  • 2 drink tickets valued at $7 each.

  • Potential payment: FHH asks for a suggested $10 donation which can be made via on the SlutTalk website. Donations are split equally among performers and host. If no donations are made performers will not be paid. 

Kiss & Tell at The Owl

Kiss & Tell is a live storytelling series and open mic held the last Thursday of each month where performers share stories about sex, relationships and the ugly truths about love. This show is free and open to anyone 21 and older. Payment for featured performers in not guaranteed. We offer features the following:

  • 8-10 minutes of stage time to perform material that align with SlutTalk’s mission and the theme of the show. No sexist, racist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic content will be tolerated.

  • Publicity and promotion via website and social media

  • 2 drink tokens

  • Potential payment: Kiss & Tell “passes the hat” during the show and asks for a suggested $5 donation. Donations are split equally among the featured performers. If no donations are received performers will not be paid.

Open Mic

  • 5 minutes of stage time to perform material that aligns with SlutTalk’s mission - no sexist, racist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic content will be tolerated.

  • Open mic performers will not be paid.
